Lightning Magnifier is a software program that enlarges all or a selected portion of your computer screen up to 36 times its original size. Whether you have low vision, or just need the text and images on the computer to be a bit larger, Lightning offers two versions so users can find the right solution.
All of the Lightning Magnifiers are excellent value, provide a great feature range and excellent reliability. In addition, each version is available on a USB memory stick. Simply plug the USB stick into any computer and Lightning will run automatically, with no need to have administrator rights or install anything on to the computer.
Lightning Plus has the capability of magnifying a computer screen from 2 times to 36 times its original size. In addition, Plus features customizable color options and editable brightness and contrast choices that allow users to change the font and background colors to easily view the PC screen.
NEW in V2 - Color and Locator Options
To make mouse navigation simpler, Plus also provides highly visible and easily customizable pointer locators. This feature is designed to help the user track and keep view of the mouse pointer, even on pages that may hide or obscure it. The cursor is also customizable and can be highlighted, making it easier for the user to find their way when word processing and inputting data on spreadsheets.
Lightning With Speech
Lightning with Speech contains all the great features of Lightning Plus, but with a text to speech capability that allows Lightning to read whatever is on the screen out loud. It gives full speech feedback for most text-based word processing tasks including editing documents in Microsoft Word, WordPad or Notepad.
USB Versions
There are also special versions of each Lightning magnifier that can run directly from a USB memory stick – so plug one into any computer and Lightning will run automatically, with no need to have administrator rights or install anything on to the computer.
